Convert Videos From YouTube Easily

July 27th, 2010

There isn’t any question that the popular video content Web site YouTube caught everyone’s attention. Since its launch in 2005, the website has exploded to attract over 100,000,000 views every day, this is an astronomical number in terms of Web traffic. Whether it’s your favorite artist’s newest music video, instructional videos, video blogs, funny bloopers, kittens or stunts reminiscent of “America’s Funniest Home Videos,” people love short clips of entertainment, especially when it is just one click away.

Almost always, YouTube viewers watch videos on the Internet. Without a connection to the Internet, however, there isn’t any way to get to the site or run a search for your favorite footage. What can you do when there’s no working Internet and you have the urge to see the video of the laughing baby for the hundredth time?

If it’s on the web, digital and doesn’t take up too much space on your hard drive, you can be sure there’s a way to download it to your computer, and that goes the same for YouTube videos, too. There are many different services that will help you save and copy your favorite videos. Often the only thing you’ll need to do is download some software and copy and paste the YouTube video address. You won’t always have to chain yourself to your laptop or desktop, either — once you have the file, you can upload your downloaded videos onto your iPod or other MP3 player with video capabilities or even burn files onto a DVD and watch them on your TV. Keep in mind before choosing software, though, that some programs are free, but others will cost money and might only work with certain browsers.

If you don’t have any software that lets you download the video from the site, Web sites such as convertyoutube.com will let you convert youtube videos. Once  you’ve loaded the software, the only thing you have to do is paste the video’s URL into a bar and press “Download.” When you do, you’ll have the option of choosing which file format you want.  ConvertYouTube.com supports MOV, AVI, MP3, MP4, WMV and more.  Most of the popular file formats are supported on their site.

Downloading YouTube Videos isn’t that tuff but as you can see it can be really useful depending on your needs.

I  seriously mean a wide extract of thousands of channels like: Sports (LIVE), News, Finance, Movies, TV shows, Weather, Fashion, History, Shopping net, Children’s Educational Programs, Radio and even foreign channels  internationally .

2.  Rejuvenator

Watching TV online is great for hardworkers who spend long hours labouring in front of the PC. Just reckon you are in the office and  desparately need to recharge from the trying project or report, just click a button and  welcome into the world of entertainment! 3. Uncomplicated

Watching TV online is very  easy, just  choose your favourite channel on the left hand side and click Play. It’s for you and me, the low tech Internet pinhead.

4.  Always Retrieve the Shows you Missed

A great reward of having the Internet TV software  is that you can now finally catch up on missed episodes and tv shows.  Are you aware that 58% of TV shows are missed by most people?  Why should we be surprised given the fact that we all have such hectic work and social schedules….  You might be aware by now that there are now millions of TV fanatics in the USA who are already enjoying TV online with the numbers increasing rapidly even as we speak. However, there are also stack of scams out there, so it is decidedly worth every effort to check out some of the review sites for more information and recommendations before anyone buys the Internet TV softwares. There are some great review sites that have made a comparison of diverse softwares in the market, tabulated their comments and recommendations for your ease of reference. So it would be helpful to check out websites such as: www.tvworldchannel.com which can help you make an informed decision and to reassure that you do not get scammed.

Finding The Right Student Credit Card

July 26th, 2010

There are those out there that are a little weary about credit cards and their usage. People have had negative experiences with the usage of their credit card while others have really enjoyed the perks that they receive. If you are already attending or planning to attend college you most likely will be needing a credit card. There are several things you should consider when choosing a credit card.

Low APR Credit Cards:

Out of the credit card choices that are available in the market place look towards having a low APR credit card first. Make sure you look for an APR (Interest Rate) lower than 14% if possible when applying for your credit card. If the interest rate is higher than that and you do not pay your credit card bill off each month then the interest payments may start to add up fast. Go through the choices of credit cards available to you and choose 1 or 2 of the best credit card offers suited for your situation.

Compare Credit Cards & Fees:

Each credit card issuer will have specific fees attached to each card. Fees include: Late Payments, Annual Fees (depends on the card), Interest Fees, Increases in APR for Late Payments. Other than the APR on the credit card take into consideration the fees that you may have to pay annually or if you have a late payment.

Best Credit Card Rewards:

The credit card rewards offered may be an excellent bonus. You have airline miles, cash back, points to name a few of the benefits of specific credit card offers. You can consider getting a card that offers these benefits. Credit card issuers that offer points as a perk allow you to receive points for each purchase. The more you spend the more points you get and you can use those points to get gifts, gift cards or what is available in their catalog. With each dollar spent on your credit card you will receive a specific amount of points. Sometimes you’ll receive double points when you spend at specific locations.

Student Credit Card Research:

The more choices of credit card offers you have the better. Spend some time thinking about what you are planning to use your credit card for and what you want in a card. By having a good idea of the type of credit card offer you are looking it will be much easier to make a decision. With your credit card application you can feel confident with your decision.

University and college students have a lot of choices when it comes to credit cards. When applying for a new card doing a little comparison shopping for cards helps quite a bit. You will find that it is a lot of fun to use credit cards and quite a convenience to have.

Use your Mac to Capture YouTube Videos

July 25th, 2010

As you may already know, YouTube does not have any way for you capture videos from its site.  There are a lot of microsoft windows programs that let you do this, but what should you do if own have a Mac?

The best option is to use an online service that will capture a youtube video from YouTube.  Many of these sites will simply get the raw .flv file from YouTube and the problem with this is you will quickly figure out this isn’t very useful for you.

You need an online service that can also convert the video into a format you need.  This might be an audio mp3 file, or for videos .mov or .mp4 file formats work great on Macs.  If you don’t know how to find such a service I recommend http://www.captureyoutube.net.  It’s a very easy service to use.

Here is how to use it:

Step 1: Just  go on over to YouTube and search for the video you want.  Then copy-and-paste the full YouTube URL into your clipboard.

Next head on over to the capture YouTube site and put the URL into the little box provided on the site.  Then pick the format you want.  On Macs .mp4 videos will look the best.  For audio use the mp3 format.

Step 2: Just push the download button and wait.  It will take several minutes (maybe even 10 minutes or more) for it to capture and convert the video.  Just be patient for it to finish.

When it’s done you can press the download button and enjoy your video.  There isn’t much more to it.

I’ll give you one last tip:  You can save these video or audio files right into the ‘automatically add to Itunes’ folder.  Then your YouTube clips will get imported into Itunes.  This is great if you want to use it on your Ipad, Iphone, or Ipod when you are not online.
